Josie's

This week I went to lunch with a friend of mine to a cafe that I have wanted to try for a long time. I have actually tried to eat here several times before but it's been so busy I could never get a table. I always thought that the food must be good for the que to be that long!!  The cafe itself is not very large however it still manages to have a great spacious feel to it.  There are so many amazing food options to choose from. Breakfast, sandwiches, salads and pancakes (which are amazing!), even the drinks menu offers a wide range of choice. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff are very friendly.  I had the wild thyme and garlic mushrooms on sourdough toast with poached egg and crumbled feta. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the flavours from the mushrooms completed the dish superbly.  My friend decided to try the seasonal fruit pancakes with ice cream and maple syrup. They looked absolutely amazing and apparently were the best pancakes
